The SSS Province of Our Lady of the Assumption (Philippines-Uganda-Hawaii) joyfully celebrated the priesthood ordination of Reverend Noman Anwar Encarnacion Nasser SSS, on February 9, 2019, in Sta Cruz Church in Manila. Bishop Sofronio Bancud SSS, bishop of the Diocese of Cabanatuan, was the ordaining prelate. 

A Journey in God's Love -  A newly ordained's personal reflection

It is not how short or how long the formation years are. It is how we responded and cooperate with God's grace in our formation. Formation is indeed on-going. There is such thing as FOREVER in the formation! Remember, GOD’S GRACE is LOVE! Let us contemplate on this:

"In our daily lives we must see that it's not happiness that makes us grateful but gratefulness that makes us happy. There is always, always, always something to be thankful for! Your current position is somebody's future expectation.  Your life now is somebody's prayer request. Don't let the devil point at you that somebody is doing better than you. It is a strategy for ingratitude. Anything you celebrate multiplies, anything you despise diminishes. Appreciation is the vehicle for acceleration. Gratitude is the lift to great altitude.”

To see what God will do, you must acknowledge what God has done.

When God calls, He ordains and He will sustain. God did not call the qualified but rather He qualifies those whom He called. We were called to be Religious Priest and Perpetually Professed Brothers and Sisters by God through the inspiration of St. Peter Julian Eymard. May we always therefore remember our first moment of our journey in the religious life of formation. We responded to the hungers of the human family, and so let us allow ourselves to be true Servants and Shepherds of God's Eucharistic Vineyard no matter how long the journey is. He is always with us.

Please Pray for Priests and Religious to persevere in holiness, be Marian, Eucharistic, prayerful, forgiving, humble, simple, loving and compassionate. God loves you po so much!
