“To storm the world with Eucharistic violence”

Great and thanks filled moment for the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament, Kristu Jyoti Province as eight of novices made their first profession vows vowing "to storm the world with Eucharistic violence" taking inspiration from our founder St. Peter Julian Eymard which brought about a great joy into the family of SSS on 1st May 2020. We all had thought of grand Thanksgiving celebration with people associated with us in so many ways, our well-wishers, benefactors, supporters and lay aggregates.

But God himself designed the way and mode of this auspicious celebration under lockdown due to COVID-19, and nothing happens without any reason and therefore, instead of being very sad, we all thanked God and glorified his name unceasingly because of his love that made this event possible even in the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic which would not have been possible without His intervention. Due to the lockdown, our faithful benefactors and well-wishers could not be part of this great joy of ours but still, they loaded us with love and prayers virtually from wherever they were.

Although there was no big number of people for the Eucharistic celebration still with few it was a grand and cherished one under the light of the Eucharistic Lord. Fr. Peter Fernandez the novice master was the main celebrant of the day and Fr. Rajesh, the assistant Novice master, broke the word of God. There were few other priests who were part of the celebration to witness this day of blessing of Eucharistic Jesus on eight of us.

After the celebration was over the newly professed brothers along with the priests moved for photography. The other members of the community too did the same. After that, all moved to the courtyard for the yummy fellowship in which, we had the congratulatory wishes being poured on us by the people gathered and there on a short thanksgiving ceremony crept in which was thank the Eucharistic Lord for all of us and for this day of consecration to the Lord in the Eucharist.
