Mrs Concetta said goodbye to the General Curia

Mrs. Concetta Amarilli, our cook who was working for the Curia for 35 years, retired from her work on the 30th of April 2021. Many of the members of the Congregation knew her. Religious, who were either living or passing through the Curia, must have come across Mrs. Concetta. She was very kind, concern and responsible. Her dedication, sincerity and creativity in the work was commendable.

Concetta 2021 1We had farewell for her on the last day of her work in the Curia. Her husband, workers and members of the Curia participated. ‘You are a motherly figure in the curia’; ‘Your relationship with the members of the community was very cordial’; ‘You were perfect in your work’; ‘We could see your affection in the food’. These were some of the words spoken of her by the members of the Curia during the farewell. All of us, including her knew that these words are true.

At the end of the farewell Mrs. Concetta said, ‘I will always cherish the memories of the Curia, because it has given me happy memories and made me to feel part of the family of Sacramentini’.

As we say good-bye to her, the memories will surely live in our minds and hearts. We assure her of our prayers for her healthy and happy life as well as for joy and peace in her family.
