Nominations at the SSS Generalate

We are pleased to announce the following nominations and express our heartfelt gratitude to those who have faithfully served the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament.

DangFr. Joseph Mary Le Tran Minh Dang, SSS has been nominated as the General Secretary and will officially assume office on June 22, 2025, the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ. Additionally, he has been serving as the General Procurator since February 4, 2025. A member of the Province of Vietnam, Fr. Dang has completed his Licentiate in Canon Law. We extend to him our warmest congratulations and assure him of our prayers as he takes on these important responsibilities.

Giulio 1Fr. Giulio Maccali SSS has been appointed Superior of the Community of the General Curia, effective February 4, 2025. He belongs to the Province of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Italy. We hold him in our prayers and wish him all the best in his leadership and accompaniment.

BinhAt the same time, we express our sincere gratitude to:

Fr. Joseph Vu Quoc Binh, SSS, who has served as General Secretary since 2017. He belongs to the Province of Vietnam, and we deeply appreciate his dedicated service and contribution to the Congregation. May the Lord continue to bless and guide him in his ministry.

 

 

PhuocFr. Joseph Le Huu Phuoc, SSS, who served as General Procurator from 2019. He belongs to the Province of Vietnam, and we thank him for his valuable contributions. He now continues to serve the Congregation as Archivist and Community Treasurer of the General Curia. We are grateful for his ongoing commitment.

We thank the Province of Vietnamese Martyrs and the Province of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament for their generosity.

Let us keep our brothers in our prayers as they begin or continue their missions in service to the Congregation. May Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament continue to strengthen them, and our holy founder, Peter Julian Eymard, inspire them.
