In tune with the Jubilee Year 2025 and following the Blessed Sacrament tradition whose source of spirituality and mission is the Eucharist, the community of Lima held the 2025 Eucharistic Dinner on the theme The Eucharist: Source of Hope (Rom 5:1-5), held on Saturday, 15 November, from 6:30–10:30 pm, in the Chapel of Our Lady of Fatima. The event of a spiritual, social and cultural nature apart from the Mystery of the Eucharist is rhythmed by a sequential dynamic of prayer, formation and sharing around the table.
From the beginning, the participants were asked about the deep meaning of the table "being the most visible sign of the environment" as focused on Eucharistic and Synodal Spirituality. First, the essence of the "table" was expressed within the Eymardian Eucharistic Spirituality, being a place where fraternity, the culture of encounter and the contemplation of the reality of life are forged from a theological perspective. Second, the importance of the sign of the table within the Synodal Spirituality was clarified in order to discern and reflect on the challenges of evangelization and the mission of the Church in today's world.
The event is part of a synodal perspective to enhance the spirituality of the table, since this is highlighted as a space for dialogue, listening and contemplation of the existential reality that is based on a perspective of fraternity and communion.

Since most of those taking part do not know our spiritual and missionary source, this occasion was taken to include a formative part through the projection of a video that presented Fr. Eymard in context and briefly introduced the Eymardian Family in its places of SSS presence and activities carried out in the different geographical contexts of the world.
From the reflections and experiences that were shared, which were inspired by the relationship between the Eucharist and Hope in the framework of the jubilee year 2025 as "Pilgrims of Hope", everything revolved about the theme of the Word being shared at the table as sowers of Hope. An experiential and fraternal dynamic was carried out, nourished by some time given to cultural presentation and enjoyment.
The Eymardian Family is called to continue cultivating the richness of this spiritual dimension, starting from the Eucharistic table to form spaces for communion and dialogue, to work toward a world of hope through conversation in the Spirit and to create a Christian humanism, while endeavouring always to be artisans of peace and agents of hope, thus eucharistising the world.
