50^th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Blessed Sacrament Congregation in Viet-Nam and 6^th Anniversary of the dedication of An Phu parish

In the spirit of thanksgiving to God, our SSS brothers and the laity of the parish gathered together to celebrate the Our Lady of the Eucharist mass on May 13, 2023. It is the patron mass of the Blessed Sacrament Congregation, also the 6^th Anniversary of the dedication of An Phu parish, the 50^th of the Foundation of the Blessed Sacrament Congregation in Viet Nam as well.

Before the mass, our SSS brothers spent one hour on retreat and reflected graces on which our Lord has bestowed human beings, especially the sacrament of the Eucharist. The first lady adoring the Eucharist is Mary, Mother of God. She is our fantastic example of adoring the Eucharist.

Besides that, there was the flower dance to praise our Lady in the parish. The flowers are our spiritual flowers offering to our Mother and asking her to intercede for us so that the graces which our God has given us will be fruitful through our lives

Fr Vincent Hoa, the spiritual conductor, reminded us that: “imitating our Mother by visiting the Eucharist joyfully and each day is our mission and our charism which our Founder handed down to us”. Each of us must make known the Eucharist to everybody.

All of us celebrated the mass with the gratitude of God and our SSS brothers and people who sacrificed a lot to establish the Viet Nam Province and parish. It is sure that they wish their heritage given to us will develop from generation to generation strongly and lastingly.

Some of our SSS brothers also received the ministry of Lector and Acolyte in the mass.

After the mass, we, our SSS brothers and the laity had dinner together fraternally – the phenomenon of joy and thanksgiving. Hopefully, they will dwell in each of us all the time.
